The Australian Government has decided that it will provide a fee rebate to any students or backpackers who will arrive in Australia for the next few months.

International students and working holiday makers who arrive in Australia will have their visa application fees rebated through the Department of Home Affairs to encourage more people to enter the country.

International students will have the fees waived for eight weeks from Wednesday, while the changes will be in place for 12 weeks for working holiday makers.

Starting from Wednesday (19th January), any international student arriving in Australia in the next 8 weeks can rebate the $630 of their visa application fees!
