For our International Relations meeting this morning, Nancy was prepared. She didn’t want to look like Teletubbies. She had her makeup on and was wearing her Oscar winning dress. My hairs are getting taller and taller, catching up to the Sydney Centre Point Tower. Productive meeting, making sure our hands are on the pulse!

Sydney College English, a very renowned English language school in Sydney (and one of MEGA’s respectful benchmarking competitor), started in 1987, with 33 years history, has closed its door. I predict there will be many colleges closing soon. After COVID-19 pandemic, there will be fewer competition in the international student market.

It was great to catch up with my international Relation Managers this morning. It was a productive meeting to plan our marketing and sales strategies for the months ahead. It is worthwhile to note that Marky somehow managed to get a great haircut during the lockdown period. I need one urgently too. Nancy hid her bad hair under her purple hoodie, making her looking like Tinky Winky, the purple Teletubby. And Iria looks the same, despite work from home. It’s reassuring to see that MEGA still functions well despite this once-in-a-lifetime pandemic crisis.

MEGA is ready for our Online Learning launch next Monday, 6 April 2020. Zoom licenses have been purchased and tested, Google Classroom set up, and Moodle platform still running well. All our teachers, trainers and assessors have all been trained. Volunteer students have also participated in our trial classes during the holiday, provide excellent feedback. Our beautiful Online Learning Manual has also been sent out early this week with their class codes. We are now ready!
